Advertisements are being installed on four Jordan School District school buses Tuesday.
The plan was approved by the school district months ago as a way to help generate money to help cover transportation costs.
"We're interested in seeing just how much revenue this might generate," said Jordan District's transportation director Herb Jensen.
The ads do have to follow a set of guidelines, such as no illegal content and the ads should be appropriate for school age children.
"Each of the ads have to be approved by the school district to make sure that they meet their requirements," Jensen said.
