WEST VALLEY CITY — A committee made up of family and friends of missing mother Susan Cox Powell are seeking artists and locations for sculpture to remember her and her murdered children.

In a statement released by Susan’s best friend, Kiirsi Hellewell, the committee said it is looking for land to place a memorial in both West Valley City and Puyallup, Washington. They are also accepting applications from artists.

More information on the call for artists and locations can be found here.

Susan disappeared in 2009 and has not been found. Her husband, Josh, considered by police to be a “person of interest” in her disappearance, killed himself and their two children, Charlie and Braden, in February.
