A Utah man took a wrong turn, sending his SUV into the Jordan River on Monday, said police.

Nedi Huavi was going fishing near 1200 West and 1300 South when he accidentally put the SUV in the wrong gear.  He wound up in two feet of the Jordan River.

"I tried to come up and I never come up and I stayed in the water," said Huavi.  "That water is maybe two feet, that's all."

Huavi was not hurt.  He climbed out of the water and waited for the tow truck to fish his SUV out of the river.
