In 2011, over 2.7 million used cars were up for sale online with safety recalls that were never fixed, according to a new study.
Many of these cars are sold to new owners without the buyer knowing the recall even exists.
Larry Gamache, the communications director of CARFAX, spoke with Good Day Utah on Tuesday about the issue.
