A massive fire burned at a pallet yard near Los Angeles on Saturday night.

Explosions could be heard through the night as flames ignited gas containers in the yard.

Deb Kirby of Massachusetts accidentally threw away several rings, including her engagement ring. Kirby dug through 15 tons of trash to find her treasure.

She had help from waste management; eight men helped her rummage through the trash. It only took about an hour and a half to find the right bag and Kirby's rings.

A world-renowned artist uses gumballs to create portraits of memorable figures, including President Obama.

The Museum of Contemporary Art in Calgary commissioned Fronz Spohn to make a 78-inch-by-78-inch portrait of Calgary's mayor for the International Children's Festival.

Thousands of comic book fans lined up for the 17th annual Comicon in Texas, some dressed as their favorite characters.

Fans got to meet comic artists, writers and actors. Comicon attendees also got a chance to collect memorabilia.
