SALT LAKE CITY – The Gateway’s free concert series starts Thursday, June 7.
The lineup is as follows:
June 7 Spank Pocket – Funk/Jazz
June 14 The Number Ones – Pop
June 21 Brian Booth Sextet – Jazz
June 28 Great Basin Street Band – Dixieland
July 5 Joe Muscolino Band – Classic Rock/Pop Jazz
July 12 Crazy Coyote – Country
July 19 Caleb Chapman & The Voodoo Orchestra – Era Swing
July 26 The Fabulous Floors – Jazz
According to Heather Nash, marketing director, the concerts feature the best local musicians in Utah and have developed a reputation for being “the place to be on hot summer nights.”
Nash said, “It is a very popular way for families to combine an evening of shopping, dining, and music.”
The free concerts are scheduled every Thursday evening in June and July on Rio Grande Street near the Olympic Legacy Fountain starting at 6:30 p.m.
