Six rafters were rescued on the San Rafael River in Emery County on Tuesday.
They were reported missing on Monday and found on Tuesday with the help of the Utah National Guard’s Second Battalion, 211th Aviation.
Guard helicopters found the rafters. They were treated for dehydration by Emery County Sheriff deputies.
The guard was training with Emery County and other local jurisdictions this week on search-and-rescue procedures.
