SNOWBIRD, Utah – One man was injured after a motor home caught fire at Snowbird Saturday morning.
The man was outside the RV when the fire started. He suffered second- and third-degree burns on his legs and was flown to the University of Utah Medical Center.
“it appears that he was actually looking at the vehicle when the vehicle did combust,” said Capt Lee Carte, Unified Fire Dept.
Three other people were inside the RV when the fire started but they weren’t injured.
The owner of the RV says it’s possible leaking fluid may have caused the fire, but the incident is still under investigation. The RV was destroyed by the fire.
