The eastern half of the U.S. has been suffering through a heatwave for the last several days…now it’s our turn! High pressure building over Utah will keep it very hot for most of the week. It looks like Tuesday will be the hottest day in Southern Utah with temps climbing near 110 in St. George by then! Northern Utah will peak on Wednesday when the mercury could climb up to 104 in Salt Lake City! That’s hotter than we ever got last year. The highest temperature in Salt Lake City in 2011 was 101 degrees.
