Group sheds light on growing problem of child sex trafficking

The Child Rescue Association of North America brought national experts to Utah to teach college students how to fight a growing problem: child sex trafficking.

Amira Birgen, a survivor of sex trafficking as a teenager, is now the mother of three and a college student in social work.

Sergeant Marc Evans supervises the vice squad for the Los Angeles Police Department North Hollywood Division and the owner of a consulting firm that trains police and others in identifying and fighting sex trafficking.
