SANDY, Utah — Police say a man robbed the First Utah Bank on 11015 S. State Street Friday afternoon and is currently at large.
Sandy Police say that the suspect walked into the bank at approximately 1 p.m. and came up to the teller and handed a note that indicated he was armed and demanded money.
The suspect, described as a white man, between 30-40 years of age, took an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the bank on foot.
The suspect was seen wearing a dark suit with a blue button-up shirt and multi-colored tie. He was last seen wearing a black eye patch over his right eye. Police say he is about 5-feet, 8-inches tall with a medium build. The suspect has short, reddish-blonde hair which is balding and a goatee and mustache.
