DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah – A Duchesne County mother is facing felony charges after police say she pointed a loaded gun at her 9-year-old son’s head.
34-year-old Bambi Richins is charged with child abuse, aggravated assault and witness tampering.
Richins’ son told DCFS workers that his mother became angry with him while he was cleaning and said, “I am going to blow your head off.” The boy said the gun was loaded and she was going to put it in his mouth.
Richins was booked and released after posting $20,000 bail.
