About 4,000 marijuana plants were removed from a garden near Pinto, Utah on Monday.

Members of the Iron County Sheriff’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Forest Service and The Iron/Garfield Narcotics Strike Force located and removed the plants after a concerned citizen reported them.

In a statement released to FOX 13 News, the Iron County Sheriff’s Office said they are “grateful for the cooperation and help from the citizens that are in the back woods area of Iron County who pay attention to this type of activity.”
