MURRAY – A 24-year-old woman was hit by a car at approximately 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
The woman was walking along State Street early Sunday morning in the emergency lane at 5065 South when a convertible struck her and drove off.
The woman was transported to the hospital in serious condition with a broken hip.
Witnesses said the suspect was a balding white male in his 50s or 60s who was driving a white or champagne colored Mercedes-Benz .
The vehicle may have damage on the front passenger side.
Police are still investigating this case.
