MURRAY, Utah — A cyclist is in the hospital Friday morning after police say a 23-year-old man hit two bicyclists with his car in Murray.

Police say Michael Saenv was driving south on Van Winkle Expressway at 4500 South in Murray when he hit two people riding bikes on the side of the road.

One bicyclist suffered minor injuries, but the other was taken to the hospital with severe head injuries.

Officers arrested Saenv on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Police say both bikes did have flashing lights.
