OGDEN -- A proposed ban on obscene and profane language at Ogden City Parks and Recreational Events has been dropped.
The Ogden Recreation Division wanted a language provision to prevent profanity in parks, playgrounds, recreation centers or any recreation event organized by the city.
Some questioned the constitutionality of the ordinance because it would have banned certain types of speech.
