RICHFIELD, Utah — A pilot was injured after his ultra-light plane crashed at the Richfield Municipal Airport on Wednesday.

Police say the plane made a rough landing after crashing nose first into the ground at 10:38 a.m. They say 65-year-old Reb Wallace of Arizona was trapped in the wreckage.

Firefighters had to extricate him.

He was taken to Sevier Valley Hospital with a broken ankle and other non-life threatening injuries.
