S. Ogden investigating vandalism at deputies’ homes

Posted

Two law enforcement officers were victims of criminal mischief according to the South Ogden Police Department.

A Davis County deputy’s DARE car was spray painted while parked at the deputy’s home sometimes Friday night or Saturday morning.

Black spray paint is apparent on the car’s red paint finish, windows, side mirrors and rims. The driveway was also spray painted with the message “F— Cops.”

A Weber County deputy discovered the same message spray painted on his garage door Saturday morning. No vehicles were damaged at the home, but they were parked in the garage, according to police.

The officers both reside in South Ogden City. Police said no other vehicles or homes were damaged in the neighborhood.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents, should contact Weber dispatch at 801-629-8221.
