Utah has the second lowest screening rate in the nation with around 67 percent of Utah women 40 and older reporting they have had a mammogram in the last two years.
As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Sylinda Lee, of the Utah Department of Health's Utah Cancer Control Program, spoke with Good Day Utah about the importance of early detection.
