SALT LAKE CITY – Salt Lake County officials are making early voting easier than ever with more polling locations and longer hours.

Early voting, which runs from Oct. 23 through Nov. 2, helps voters avoid long lines and other unforeseen obstacles on Election Day.

There will be 21 early voting locations across the Salt Lake Valley. Most will be open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some locations open until 7 p.m. The Salt Lake County Government Building at 2001 South State St. will also be open on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If you haven’t registered to vote, there’s still time. You can register online or in-person through Oct. 22. You won’t be able to vote early, but are eligible for Election Day voting on Nov. 6. For more information, visit vote.utah.gov.
