SANTA CLARA, Utah – Federal funding was granted to Washington County after a dike broke in Santa Clara and flooded streets.
FEMA awarded the city $3.8 million for infrastructure repairs after the Sept. 11 collapse. The funding only covers infrastructure because fewer than 100 homes were affected.
More than 60 homes and 20 businesses were damaged.
