SALT LAKE CITY – A motorcyclist was hospitalized in critical condition after a crash in Salt Lake County on Sunday.
Witnesses told Utah Highway Patrol troopers a man on a bullet bike was traveling between 90 and 100 mph along I-80 near 500 East at around 4 p.m. Sunday when he encountered a slower-moving SUV in the right lane.
Troopers say the biker hit the back of the SUV then went down into the wall. The two right lanes of traffic were closed during an investigation.
