HERRIMAN, Utah – Plans to put a gun range in Herriman are delayed after the City Council voted to look at alternate locations.
Herriman residents voiced support for a gun range, but residents living near the 40-acre lot where the range had been proposed are strongly opposed, citing safety concerns for students who go to schools nearby.
The council voted unanimously to look for a new spot for the gun range.
