There was a fatal crash on I-80 near The Great Saltair Friday.
Eastbound traffic on I-80 was diverted off at SR-201. The crash happened near mile post 105 at 7:10 a.m.
According to the Utah Department of Public Safety, two pickups were involved. One pickup rear-ended the other, causing the first pickup to roll. The driver was ejected and died.
Trooper are investigating what caused the crash. Sgt. Blaine Robbins said they are investigating if speed was a factor in the crash.
The name of the victim has not been released.
