SALT LAKE CITY – Starting in January, Salt Lake City residents will start paying a fee for street lights.
Residents will pay $3.73 per month and commercial, government and school buildings will be expected to pay $3.73 per 75 feet of street frontage per month.
The fee is expected to bring in $3.6 million a year.
