EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah – Eagle Mountain may soon have new fire services.
The city wants to work with Unified Fire Authority in Salt Lake County, even though it’s in Utah County.
The change would increase property taxes for residents. Thursday marked the last day residents could voice their opinions on the proposed change.
If Eagle Mountain does join UFA, they would retain their fire station and equipment.
The UFA service board will vote on whether to accept Eagle Mountain.
