Utah State University moved quickly to fill their vacated head football coaching position.
Even before Gary Andersen could officially announce his acceptance as the new head coach at the University of Wisconsin, USU interviewed, offered and signed Aggies current offensive coordinator Matt Wells.
The school held a news conference Thursday afternoon to make it official.
FOX 13 has learned that Andersen has decided to postpone the press conference scheduled for Thursday in Madison, Wisconsin until Friday - partly to avoid stepping on USU's toes with their announcement.
