SALT LAKE CITY – A woman accused in several Salt Lake County robberies has officially been charged with aggravated robbery.
Police believe Sandra Chotia-Thompson and her partner Kelly Fay Simons committed a series of robberies in early January, including a robbery, chase and carjacking in Murray.
Simons was shot and killed by an officer during an attempted search warrant execution on Jan. 9. Chotia-Thompson was arrested later that day.
