LOGAN, Utah – Police in Logan are investigating a death at the Logan Regional Hospital possibly caused by a stun gun.
Police say that last Thursday, a 49-year-old man was acting strange and yelling. The man said he was getting a gun and refused to show his hands. Officers struck him with a stun gun then took him to the Logan Regional Hospital.
Three hours later, the man was fighting with hospital security and was struck with a stun gun again.
When police showed up, the man was in full cardiac arrest and later died.
