SALT LAKE CITY — The Unified Police Department is looking for a man who allegedly robbed a Chase Bank on Monday afternoon.

Police said the suspect walked into the bank, located at 1306 East Woodland Ave., around 2:00 p.m.

Ken Hansen of the Unified Police department described the incident.

“He has black and orange backpack, he presents a note to the teller, and he also displays, or brandishes, a handgun,” Hansen said. “He gets something from the teller and leaves the bank without incident.”

The suspect is described as a skinny white male in his 30s. He was wearing a black jacket, blue Levis and a ball cap. He was seen leaving in a bright white, four-door sedan.
