PROVO, Utah — Provo fire detectives are looking for a person who set fire to two parked vehicles in a residential neighborhood early Tuesday morning.
Investigators said they received a call to respond near 10th North and 750 West around 3:45 a.m. They said both fires were started from inside the vehicles.
“There`s really no good reason for either of these cars to be on fire, so at this point we`re really leaning towards a human caused fire,” Provo Fire Marshall Lynn Schofield said.
Investigators believe the acts were random. No one was injured. Police are investigating several car burglaries in the same area, but they are not certain whether the crimes are related.
