SALT LAKE CITY – Police said a woman was hit by a car while she was crossing the street in a crosswalk near the Utah State Capitol.
Officers said the woman was going eastbound and then turned to head westbound, which is when the car hit her. The woman suffered lacerations to the back of her head, her arms and her legs.
Police said the woman was conscious and OK.
