SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah – Plans to renovate the century-old Granite High School and turn it into a film and television studio have been scrapped.
The parties involved say it all came down to lack of money. A joint venture between the movie rental company Redman Movies and Stories and developer Woodbury Corporation fell apart because they were unable to come up with a lease agreement.
The property will now most likely go on the open market to the highest bidder.
