MT. PLEASANT, Utah – One person is dead after a construction accident in Sanpete County.
The Sanpete County Sheriff’s Office says the driver of a truck was killed at around 9 a.m. Thursday when his truck stalled while pulling a piece of heavy equipment uphill.
Deputies say that when the truck started rolling backwards, the man jumped out and was run over. A passenger in the truck did the same thing, but was not hurt.
The name of the deceased worker has not been released.
