Bystanders pull woman from burning car after crash

WEST VALLEY CITY – Bystanders in West Valley City pulled a woman to safety after the car she was in rolled over and became engulfed in flames.

West Valley City personnel responded to a reported rollover near the intersection of SR-201 and Bangerter Highway.

They say quick action by bystanders and fast treatment by crews resulted in a good outcome. Bystanders helped pull the 43-year-old driver out of her car and she was transported to Intermountain Medical Center.

The driver of the other vehicle was treated at the scene.
