WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah –Neighbors came together on Monday to reunite a mother duck with her duckling after it became stuck in a storm drain.
Neighbors discovered the duckling, and its mother calling out to it, around 11:30 a.m. at 3380 West and 3800 South.
One neighbor called animal services and was told the duckling would eventually find its way out. The neighbors were not swayed, and they decided to take it upon themselves to climb into the drain with a net and save the duckling.
