SALT LAKE CITY -- The Twilight Concert Series announced its annual lineup of concerts for the summer. The series will run July 18 through September 5.
Big names like Belle and Sebastian, Kid Cudi, The Flaming Lips and MGMT are among the bands heading to Salt Lake City this summer.
Casey Jarman, Twilight's director, says the concert series putting Utah on the map.
"Twilight definitely has a great name and some of the bands that know about it are really excited, couldn't be happier to be here," Jarman said.
"The [New York Times] is really intrigued by the synergy that's happening here and there's a lot of energy. Our economy is good, and I think the potential for Salt Lake is really amazing."
The concerts are every Thursday night at Pioneer Park in downtown Salt Lake City. Tickets are $5 each, but season tickets for all nine concerts can be purchased for $35. Ticket information can be found here.
