OGDEN, Utah – The Ogden School District is transferring its Adult Education program.
Some students and educators were worried that the Adult Education program was being discontinued, but Donna Corby, spokeswoman for the Ogden City School District, says it’s just being relocated.
Corby says an old elementary school has been transformed into an alternative high school for the 250 older teens and adults in its Adult Education program.
The district is now partnering with the Weber County School District to have the adult students meet 16 blocks away.
Corby says the change comes because the district didn’t want to have adults students on the campus at the same time as minors.
