WEST POINT, Utah – A wedding ring was found on the roadside in West Point, and now police are hoping to find the rightful owner.
Someone found the ring last week and turned it in. Police are hoping someone will recognize it, and call them.
“It’s going to mean a lot to someone and better than that, better it be returned to the rightful owner than be sold at an auction for pennies on the dollars,” said Sgt. Susan Poulsen with the Davis County Sheriff’s Office.
Police say they will have callers verify the inside inscription to make sure they are the rightful owner. The number to call is 801-451-4160.
