$1,000 reward offered in Box Elder Co. arson investigation

BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah — A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for starting a series of fires that caused property damage in Box Elder County.

Tremonton police said the first fire caused damage to a high school football shed. A second fire caused $3,000 in damage to a vehicle. A third fire damaged a Jeep and a fourth fire damaged a camp trailer.

Two of the fires occurred in Tremonton and two occurred in Garland, police said.

Police believe the same person or people are responsible for starting all four fires.
