NORTH OGDEN, Utah -- A search and rescue crew was dispatched to North Ogden Canyon Tuesday morning to assist a hiker who was stranded there since Sunday.
The hiker, a 43-year-old Weber County man, began his hike on Sunday around 2 p.m. and became stranded on a ledge without food or water.
The man yelled for help Tuesday morning and someone heard him, then called 9-1-1 around 10 a.m.
The search and rescue crew reached the man early Tuesday afternoon and lowered him down the mountain.
The man has a minor leg injury and is dehydrated.
