SALT LAKE CITY – Walmart officials are warning of an email scam.
An email was sent out Thursday morning, claiming to be from Walmart.com. The email looks like confirmation of a purchase made on Walmart.com, but is actually a phishing email, attempting to gather information from the recipient.
Walmart is advising those who received it to not click any links or respond. Walmart is investigating the source of the email and working with authorities.
