SALT LAKE CITY — Funeral services for Frances J. Monson will be held at noon on Thursday, May 23 at the Salt Lake Tabernacle.
The public is invited to the funeral service. There will be no public viewing.
Frances Monson was the wife of Thomas S. Monson, President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She died Friday morning at the age of 85 at a Salt Lake City hospital. She had been hospitalized for several weeks and passed away peacefully of causes incident to age, the LDS church said in a press release.
