COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS – On Tuesday night, Cottonwood Heights' city council discussed a resident's snake collection.
The neighbors of Thomas Cobb said his 29 boa constrictors are a danger to the community and they fear for the safety of their pets and children.
Cobb defended his pets, saying they are not a danger and he is not running a business.
“It's my passion, something I love to the ends of the earth, the only thing I love more is my family,” said Thomas Cobb.
The council decided Thomas can keep his snakes for now, as no decision was officially made.
