ROOSEVELT, Utah – Roosevelt Police and federal investigators are trying to find a man who stole 18 semi-automatic handguns during a burglary at a hardware store.
The incident took place on June 23 at Stewart’s Ace Hardware on U.S. Highway 40 in Roosevelt.
The suspect used a hammer to break the glass in a side door and then broke the glass on the gun display case. The store estimated the total value of the stolen weapons to be about $14,000.
If caught, the burglar would face both local and federal charges.
