WASHINGTON CITY, Utah - Heavy rain across southern Utah flooded streets on Thursday.
The National Weather Service issued a flash flood watch for southeastern Utah and parts of Arizona, and sudden rainstorms had streets flooded with water.
There was dirt and debris on the roadway and minor flooding, but there were no reports of major damage.
Storms are expected in the area for the next several days. Washington County Emergency Services officials warn residents to be alert and avoid areas that typically flood during heavy rain.
