RIVERTON, Utah –A house fire in Riverton is now out with no reported injuries, officials said Tuesday evening.
Firefighters responded to a fully involved two-alarm fire at approximately 5:40 p.m. at 2589 West 12340 South.
Officials on scene did not give a dollar amount in damage but said the house was not a total loss. Neighbors confirmed that a large family resided in the home.
Firefighters who arrived on the scene reported that a bedroom and living room were fully involved in flames. At one point firefighters went into defensive mode and said it was too dangerous to send crews into the building.
