SALT LAKE CITY – Salt Lake City police used a stun gun on a man accused of assaulting people and pets in a public park.
Witnesses say 30-year-old Isoa Blake was walking around Salt Lake City’s Jordan Park saying strange things before he assaulted a teen and a dog.
Police say that when they got to the scene, Blake became aggressive.
“He right away took a fighting stance. Officers of course commanded him to get down, he did not comply, and a Taser was deployed. He was taken into custody safely after they Tased him,” said Salt Lake City Police Det. Veronica Montoya.
Blake faces multiple charges, including assaulting a police officer, public intoxication, child abuse, animal cruelty and disorderly conduct.
