A Missouri man’s body was found in the Horseshoe Canyon area in Wayne County, Saturday afternoon.
Search and rescue crews were dispatched to the area at approximately 3:30 a.m. to look for the 73-year-old man. The man was last seen in Green River on July 14.
Canyonland National Park service rangers found his Toyota Prius Friday at 8 p.m. at the Horseshoe Canyon trailhead.
The man spoke to his daughter July 7. The last person he spoke was his neighbor on July 12.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
