WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — A man who allegedly led police on a high-speed chase in July was arrested Tuesday night after running from police officers.
On July 31, police said a car sped away from them after running a red light, which led to a high-speed chase on I-215. After the car stopped near 3800 South in West Valley City, police said 26-year-old Justin Archer ran from the scene.
Officers said they found Archer Wednesday at a duplex at 4700 South and 3242 West. They said when they arrived, Archer went into the attic area of the duplex, broke into the adjacent unit and then ran out a back window.
Police said they chased him with K-9 Units, and found him on a roof hiding behind an air conditioning unit. .
Archer now faces more than 10 charges including fleeing from police, theft, drug possession and weapons violation.
